the internet is a great way to catch up on the news, connect with others, and form new communities around sports, gaming, and just about every hobby under the sun. there's a lot of misinformation out there though, as well as scammers and folks who only want to make trouble. so you have to be careful

Former student of my husband is in hospital bc of a suicide attempt. He's OK, supported by fam. Visited last week, took the 1st vol of Sandman to him. Today: the sacred text, Season of Mist, which I bought on 10/92 (I date all books). @neilhimself.neilgaiman.com I'll miss it, but he will LOVE it.
