Take pictures. Candid shots of people just standing or sitting and talking. I have so many pictures from college of people just being together, and I’m make a more concerted effort now.

I tell my students that public speaking is a skill - the aim isn’t to get over your feelings, but to train your body to speak even when it is afraid. Organizing is the same. You don’t need to wait until you have hope, or pride, or any feeling at all. You can still train your body to do the work.
