Great piece! Lots of reasons to be angry are noted, but I chuckled at this, "We do know that in some cases, Makaton-issued signs have a totally different meaning in BSL—for example, the Makaton for “crab” appears more like “undulating vagina” in BSL." Learn languages, not systems.

I've been sober for 80 days today. Got to a point earlier this year where I drank every day purely out of habit, rather than pleasure. There wasn't any particular turning point for me - only realisation that I needed to stop. Do I feel better? A bit. Am I healthier? Definitely.
