I agree with this. Plus in the second hand market you can even avail of layaway payments to make things easier on your budget. There are so many ways to avoid supporting recasts nowadays.

This! There are currently some older volks dolls in various sizes for under 200 on ebay! Plus some old Soom and rainman girls for 99. I was floored when I saw newer recast prices. Especially for discontinued dolls, it makes it harder for newbies since the price looks the same as legit
