I think the students are flirting with each other wtf young people everyone knows universities are just for learning and no one ever forms social connection here there have been numerous think pieces about this!?

We absolutely do not learn at first by reading and watching. We first experience the world in a way a machine cannot ever do, then represent it, then can extrapolate from others' experiences using words. The machines can only present to us and what's already been experienced and represented.

My favorite relevant research was into curiosity as an unsupervised learning approach (the network reward was based on whether it could predict the next input or not and things it could not predict got more attention) partially because the algorithm becomes a couch potato if you give it a TV.
