Black voters are the most loyal Democratic voting bloc, but it’s time to stop taking us for granted. I’m glad to see both Senate candidates in Michigan actively courting Black voters as they should. Our votes aren’t owed to anyone. They have to be earned.

If Zohran Mamdani or Abdul El-Sayed had used the word “Shylock” as an insult, the ADL would be attacking them by name relentlessly. But Donald Trump used it, so we get a generic condemnation of the word without any specific reference to who actually used it, and with no assumption of intent.

Starting to read this article & I'm extremely disturbed. The AHA is not an oil or cigarette company trying to make sure no one knows its dirty secrets - it's supposed to be *our* 🗃️organization. But they're spending OUR money hiring lawyers & lobbyists to thwart members & keeping us in the dark.
