I legitimately liked The Last Jedi a lot, but I understand that's a controversial statement. But it felt like Rian Johnson had a story he wanted to tell. He had themes he wanted to explore. Similarly, the prequels are bad. But at least there's a story there. Rise of Skywalker is just... nothing.
