An unusually focused, short and non-political speech from Trump. He didn’t talk about anything but the Army. And he didn’t escalate tensions, politicize our military, or attack anyone like he usually does. The best we could have possibly hoped for.

We need guarantees that the tariffs Trump regime has collected are going to the US Treasury. Trump--like all aspiring tyrants--is corrupt. And in other corrupt nations the revenue from tariffs would be siphoned off to the ruler & his inner circle and then deposited in foreign bank accounts.
