Always be vigilant for signs of disinvestment in public infrastructure like roads, parks, schools, the postal service. Always keep watch for signs of retreat from public investments

We spent many hours considering these endorsements, with respectful disagreements galore. To me, the real work was in watching countless hours of council meetings in person, talking with every office & staffers for two years, & doing all I could to better understand nuance in our city’s government.
