this causes what is know as wet-bulb temperature exhaustion. The body isn't cooling quickly enough as a result of hot temps and humidity "suffocation". We will and are allowed to complain. 1 place in the US that may experience the same is Florida.

Something for Americans to understand about UK heatwave conditions. The UK's temps are NOT typically high. More often than not, being baseline mid about >20c in Summer and <5c in Winter. Humidity is a massive factor the UK being an island, humidity is higher when temps are high...

About UK housing and the absolute minimum AC. UK housing was built for what was a cooler and *wetter* climate, which is what the the UK climate typically is 50 weeks every year. Clearly, recent changes to the climate are obviously having a negative impact on older housing stock.
