I will be damned if I allow a bunch of Confederate-waving January 6th apologists give the American people a lecture on flag waving. There is ZERO reason to enter an argument about patriotism with people who still worship traitors to America 150+ years later. They. Are. Breaking. The. Law.

Sooo #MSWL is a useful hashtag to be aware of- manuscript wishlist. However, when writers start pitching using it it’s really in the way. The hashtag is for agents, sometimes independent publishers and also editors to state what they’d like to see in their inbox. 💙📚

The person who mentioned not using the mswl hashtag is correct, you've been cluttering it up. But I can't help but tell you to run from any hybrid contract. There is no case where this will get you what you want.

It's kind of strange that #QueryTracker specifically promotes agents' Twitter/X profiles, isn't it? Most agents whose #MSWL I've read have been looking for stories from marginalized communities, and that seems like the wrong place to interact. #amquerying
