My ideal is to be authentically and transparently exactly where I am. I have lived with a moderate to severe form of #LongCovid / #ME/CFS for years now. And it's MY way of living with it, with all the disadvantages and adventures and wisdoms and boredoms and joys and losses that *I* am experiencing.

I make it a point NOT to do that. I guess that's informed a) by years of advocacy in mental health, and b) seeing a close friend who lived with terminal cancer for 20 years being bombarded by the needs of healthier friends not to be confronted with her suffering. Fuck that.
