I look at these races compared to the 2024 presidential election in those states, and all of the “left vs establishment” primary winners are underperforming. And they were all in the states easier to hold or flip. I think they all still win on the wave, but those margins will matter.

Maybe there’s a kickback in here somewhere, but based on his public remarks, we’re going to spend billions reverting to a worse, older system because Trump has some weird irrational aversion to magnets. Which he apparently thinks don’t work if they get wet?
