My 10 year old Samsung laptop is not as fast as it once was but still runs perfectly fine on Linux. I might try a lighter distro soon and see if I can get some of its zip back.

About Linux, the real benefits of that OS are flexibility and no semi-forced integration with an ecosystem like OneDrive or iCloud. Almost every new program that runs on Windows and Mac will run on Linux. Even if it won't there is a tool called Wine that can sometimes run .exe files.

I did it. I began the full switch to Linux. I'll eventually figure it out. Anything to get off Windows. Because holy shit. Microsoft, you had one fucking job.
