Show PostWe hiked up to a glassy alpine lake in the #Sierra Nevada. At 9,604' (2927m), it was a gloriously warm October day, good for a half-second dip in the extremely cold water. Amazing – at that elevation, everything automatically appears in #infrared. :) #NaturePhotography #blackandwhite #mountains

I do not like this graphic. I don’t like that the captions says it captures a change in the Earh’s tilt. The tilt (on a human lifetime timescale) stays the same. Its orientation relative to the Sun is what changes throughout the year. IMO, much more effective to show terminator shadows on diff dates
