Id disagree with that, many other people on the left have used that phrase, for ex when people put a black square as a profile pic, attack kink communities such as ours, or vocally support nit voting. All of which range from doing nothing to actively harming others while trying to seem better than

Totally. Even that's fine. Sometimes you gotta communicate a message and need a quick thing. To intentionally go out of the way to do something that anyone with an eye on the community would know is a bad idea, and do it anyway... Either incompetence, stupidity or malintent.
