It's very important to reassure people that you are not going to react badly to boundaries. rejection sucks yeah. but being punished for having boundaries is worse. being coerced is worse. it gets exhausting seeing people act like being rejected is the worst possible thing. its not even close

I love this comic. I want people to realize how difficult it can be to reject someone's advances. yes it sucks when you cant have what you want.. but learning to take a "no" is such an important thing. some of my worst trauma has come from people who did not let me say no
