So basically, for budget reasons: -The New Doctor becomes unmoored in time, but locked in space (on Earth) as 3 was. -The Doctor is at odds with UNIT because his current predicament is actually destroying their continuity controls -The new Doctor must 'solve' why they are unstuck every 26 hours

-The New Doctor can "Glamer" themselves for an hour everyday in a "micro regeneration" that then can be used for fun cameos, etc. -The New Doctor has to grapple with the fact that earth magic is real and it holds clues to why he is unstuck in time. -The Doctor keeps seeing a figure following them
