@uwmadisonrna.bsky.socialOur latest #CDlab paper on BioRxiv: www.biorxiv.org/content/10.6... Led by 1st author Jaco van der Torre, we report our technique to create long (100 kb) DNA molecules with entirely user-defined sequences. We use this to design motif-depleted DNA sequences for single-molecule experiments.
Show PostHappy to share that, after 17 years abroad, I’m returning to Poland to establish my lab at IIMCB in Warsaw! 🇵🇱 Excited to start this new chapter and looking forward to the adventures ahead!
Show PostI’m very excited to share my postdoc work in the @plaschkalab.bsky.social, where we investigated the very final act of splicing – spliceosome termination, revealing the stepwise dismantling of the spent spliceosome www.nature.com/articles/s41... (1/11)
Show PostResearchers from our Plaschka lab expected one molecular motor to dismantle the cell’s RNA-editing machine. Instead, they found three. Like three hands untying a knot, the motors act in sequence to take the spliceosome apart: https://bit.ly/4AQnqNQ
