This touching grave in the Old Cemetery features a photo of Edith Operti. She died in Southampton on 4 August 1929 at the age of 41. ‘A DEVOTED WIFE AND LOVING MOTHER’ Giuseppe Operti remarried but when he died in 1958 he was buried with Edith. By his name it says ‘RE-UNITED’.
