Last month we lost our jobs. This month we made new ones. Introducing X BUTTON: an independent gaming network from three ex-IGN employees. A new weekly Nintendo podcast! A new weekly video game podcast! And that’s just the start, but we can’t do it without your help! www.patreon.com/cw/XButtonShow

I think it’s rare to meet someone you look up to and find they meet your expectations. I think it’s rarer that they wildly exceed them, and that’s what I’ve been fortunate enough to find with Brian Altano. Come send off Brian, this week on NVC: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_OG...

Hey! So after seventeen and a half years, October 2nd will be my last day at IGN. It was genuinely a dream come true to do this thing for so long alongside some of the most talented people on earth. I got to travel the world, meet my heroes, and make a ton of really fun shows and videos. An honor ♥️

In addition to what I already posted about Brian, I just want to add here that he was a fucking joy to work with in the office. sat behind me with Max once a week and was just so kind and funny and generous. gave good advice. made me feel less crazy when bad stuff happened. just a good, good dude.

my deepest admiration for and solidarity with my friends laid off at IGN today and for those who weren't and will have to deal the ramifications of these decisions through the end of this year and beyond.
