Similar thought, though I like the way you put it. Repeating to draw connections to new info is valuable. If anything, the US just saw how powerful repeating points can be, both to reach people who haven't seen (or at least registered) them, and to reinforce them as important for those who agree.

BlueSky has just got me thinking about so many social media habits that I never really questioned on Twitter because, well, that's just the internet. In fact, it doesn't have to be. We don't all have to be snarky, disingenuous, bad-faith, better-than-thee assholes. Nor do we have to accept it.
