Spooky season research experience: Never have I ever (until today) seen EIGHT reviews on a single manuscript! (?!?!!?) Bless my poor PhD student coauthor's heart for responding so lovingly and thoroughly to all FORTY FIVE of their comments. #research #peerreview #PhD #gradschool

"Space4Women" "Girls Who Code" "WNBA"... all help to include women in male-dominated domains We asked: Does a gender-emphasis ("women") ITSELF help communicate inclusion (space IS "for women") or backfire (space is actually "for men")? 7 experiments out today in JEP:G --> doi.org/10.1037/xge0...

💖 Love these studies! We often think we're being inclusive when flagging women's gender explicitly when talking about their accomplishments (e.g., "A woman won the Nobel prize in chemistry")... but this often backfires. Free pdf: drive.google.com/file/d/1GtCF... 👇

Perfect timing! High-quality curriculum is in the "more effective, lower cost" quadrant. I suspect that effectively implementing curriculum is higher cost than we think. E.g. coaching could be helpful, and that shows up in the "more effective, higher cost" quadrant. www.nytimes.com/2026/09/28/u...
