A big Mojave Rattlesnake @evowo.bsky.social and I came across after hiking for hours without seeing too much on a recent weekend. Real pretty around this area of Arizona, quite different looking to the ones I'm used to seeing in the western portion of the state. #herps 🐍

For #FrogFriday, an Indian Green Frog (Euphlyctis hexadactyla), observed along a brackish water estuary at night in Goa Province, India. This is one of the few frog species known to ingest plant matter as adults. #herps #frogs #NaturePhotography 🌿

Doing a little cleanup on the patio today and found this curly noodle! Not really a danger noodle, ‘mildly venomous’, not really a danger to people - except for the initial surprise!! It was sleeping under this plastic plate. Seemed small, young probably. California Lyre snake #herps

Found a friend walking through Pembrey Forest at the weekend. In fact almost stepped on it. Felt very cold so moved it off the path to an area of safety where it could hopefully catch some autumnal rays. #herps #UKWildlife #wildlife #nature #photography #wildlifephotography #snake #wales
