I'm neither a Bernie guy nor a Bannon guy, but the fact they can agree on something is hopeful. This comes from @futureoflife.org's realization that we need both people concerned about job security and manual security to work together, or we'll have neither.

I am but a pleb, but I have signed the @futureoflife.org statement on superintelligence it is an extremely minimalist statement that I think is a sensible ethical baseline regardless of whether you view AGI/ASI as possible, good/bad or near-/long-term superintelligence-statement.org
