@jjmeyer.bsky.socialToday, Walrus Computing is coming out of stealth. We’re on a mission to turn fault-tolerant quantum computers into engines of discovery. We build the software layer that makes them useful to anyone with a question worth asking.
Show PostWhat a day for quantum information… Yet I am very proud to announce my first single author paper and in some sense a culmination of my work the last two years. It’s on a genuine theory of multi-indexed Schatten spaces: scirate.com/arxiv/2610.0... 🔗📄 What does this mean and what is it useful for?
Show PostI have been intrigued by the computational complexity of Clifford circuit synthesis since 2023 - motivated by a fun collaboration with Robert Wille+team. Our postdoc Luna Keller now found an elegant argument that settles it: optimal Clifford synthesis is NP-hard. Kudos! scirate.com/arxiv/2610.0...
Show PostThere will be a tsunami this week on @arxiv-quant-ph.bsky.social due to the impending QIP deadline, mandatory public release of submissions, & a GPT-enabled research community. Authors are recommended to ensure their papers are online by Sept. 30 so that the submissions will be public before Oct. 5
