Very much enjoyed arguing with Markus Arndt about AI on the ferry back from Helgoland. Markus thinks our brains work in much the same way as LLMs, by a kind of glorified autocomplete. We wanted to find a good wager about what AI would or wouldn't do in ten years time but couldn't come up with one...
