Loved this! A nugget of truth that jumped out at me: many sets of eyes and opinions weighed-in on their story until one finally pointed them in the right direction. It makes me want to go back and read past draft critiques and see if there's something inspiring there that I've missed.

Great post! Nisha and Kenya found the way in to a biographical story that made it shine in an over saturated market! My story has a familiar theme so I need to look at my revisions and critiques to find that “nugget of truth” and a way to express it that will make it stand out!
