But other than that original $500 million that was deposited in a Qatar account which I can imagine Trump might well have personally stolen (Bessent and Rubio say it was returned to Venezuela though www.reuters.com/business/ene...) no real figures seem to be released.

Americans, incl. mainstream media, don't do nuance and details. Shia, ISIS, Al Qaeda, Baath, Hizbullah--it's all "ragheads" to the deplorables and their eggers-on. They all hate the Little Baby Jesus, and that's all real 'muricans need to know about them. All the above is satire and sarcasm.
