Really enjoying Warhammer 40K: Boltgun II. Level design is so much better than the first game, and encounters feel way more engaging because of it. Still wish the playable characters would actually talk/emote, but regardless, the emperor would be pleased!
Show PostMy takeaway is that I won't stay on the medication unless my doctor has a good reason for me to continue. I wanted to give myself a year because so many of the changes are gradual. For others, I'm sure the side effects are pretty mild. For me, having to avoid certain high potassium foods was hard.
Show PostI'm posting this because I think it's important that the discussions around medical hormone adjustments and HRT aren't just trans people and bro wack jobs that think you need mad testosterone to be successful. These treatments are common and widely accepted, even for cis people.
Show PostHere are my outcomes and side effects: -less acne -less energy -more body fat around the waist and hips -more emotionally calm -no change in body or facial hair -slightly more hair growth -less muscle mass/more difficult to maintain muscle mass -more consistent blood pressure Wack.
Show PostI've been on a hormonal medication (spironolactone) for a year to lower my testosterone to see how my body behaves when I'm within a more normal range. Weirdly, the most impactful side effect is a near-complete reduction in acne, even when I'm eating my normal trigger foods like chocolate.
