Update: after insurance finally coming through, I’ve move hospitals to inpatient rehab (one of the best in the world). Mentally and cognitively doing great. Physically, I’m not sure if it was fully clear by the original posts but when I was shot I was— (cont. in added post)

instantly paralyzed (and lost sensation as well) below my chest down to my feet (which will come back slowly (hopefully) with time and effort). It will take a lot of work to regain function/feeling and hopefully walk again in the next few months, but I’m trying Bonus partial scar view

Escaped rehab to get ramen 🤫 I couldn’t show the scar before since it was a little more gnarly, but here’s a more healed view. 2.5 weeks until discharge home 🌞
