All this to say the fever dreams have been brutal and I keep having nightmares about my bedridden state and inability to talk causing my friends to treat me the way someone previously did and they keep emphatically and enthusiastically proving me wrong. I love them so much

I spent a lot of my life without friends, and even more with friends that were conditional. People whose willingness to treat me like a person was dependent on how much I could act the way they wanted. This unconditional kindness is new and I’m so so grateful to the people who’ve given it to me.
