I think as a Muslim woman who has experienced bombs falling next to her, displacement&exile, Ilhan can relate to what Palestinians go through in a way AOC simply can’t. For her it’s an abstract « single issue » one can play tactics with and one can gaslight the public about if electorally necessary.

Well they’re both part of the Democratic Party which is an imperialist party of the American ruling class. That much is clear. But in that speech Ilhan Omar told the truth about her own party. That takes courage. Let’s not forget all the vitriol and death threats she has been through.
