Happy 70th birthday to Paul Levitz. From comics fan, to writer/editor, to DC Comics President and Publisher, to industry legend. I hope he had an amazing day. Writer: Legion of Super-Heroes, Justice Society of America. Co-creator of Stalker, The Huntress, Starman (Prince Gavyn) & Dragonsword.

And his interiors ain't bad either! When I started reading comics in 1970, Cardy was drawing 2-plus books a month. Teen Titans, Brave & the Bold and a short story or two. Carmine made him the main cover artist just as DC cover designs got really busy & shitty. No more Cardy stories. What a waste.
