I've been campaigning for loot boxes to get higher age ratings for yearssss - I spoke on BBC News and Radio about it a few times, too - and they've just... done it! Casually announced it on a Tuesday morning. Ten years too late, but we'll take it.

These things? Not really. Not in any manner than will make full use of the power these things require. They're too specialized. I don't know if they can even be salvaged as render farms; certainly as game or cloud storage servers they would barely use the GPU part.

All of those specialized server GPUs, all those GP200s from Nvidia, could have been useful cards. Even the RTX PRO 6000 is more useful than racks of these dedicated "AI" accelerators, and there's likely far fewer of them than there are Nvidia's custom blade servers.
