Two things emerge from our work. 1) N1 2'-O-Me loss activates the innate immune responses in both C. elegans and mammals, hinting that perhaps this is an ancestral role for this modification. A recent study from @jogender-singh.bsky.social corroborates our results. doi.org/10.64898/202... 14/15
