Rereading Dracula and I can't stress enough how much of the novel is essentially a mystery where the solution is "vampire" but they all take hundreds of very repetitive, drawn-out pages to reach that conclusion.

Jk Rowling's little white supremacist fan base keep calling the original Harry Potter acting trio "ungrateful" as if their audition didn't get them the role. They earned it, and she wants her minions to think she gave them it. It was an open audition and they won it using their own skills.

It's really, really bad in North Gaza (maybe other parts of Palestine too, I'm not sure?) Waseem told me about this as well, along with other people from this area. Even if folks have got money... there's just nothing to buy. This just isn't appearing in the news the way it should be.
