I also get how you feel about being contrarian, I am very hesitant to follow any trend. I heard another co-existing condition I have (ODD) might be part of why I am like this, but I also am just a firm believer that popularity doesn't necessarily mean something is good.

GOD I feel you, I was definitely more of the RPGMaker weird kid than the FNAF weird kid. Though the only one I really got into was Ib, the stuff I was playing (i.e. Melon Journey) was very sugary sweet instead.
