Of course, host responses capture only one aspect of viral infection. They cannot alone determine viral pathogenicity or pandemic potential. ViroChart thus complements, rather than replaces, other biological and epidemiological evidence in pathogen risk assessment. (9/9)

Thanks! ViroChart currently focuses on mammals, as we selected KEGG pathways broadly annotated across mammalian species. But the framework itself could be extended to other organisms with suitable training datasets!
