Being from a mining community, and, also, the son/grandson of miners (eventually went down the pit myself), we learnt about Aberfan from a young age, as it happened whilst I was at primary school. Thoughts with all those involved, today and always.💔

I finally made it to the new Toppings in York, to sign books and see writer/bookseller pal Georgie. It's making a strong case for best bookshop in the North of England. Signed copies of all my titles instore now.
