Right. Additionally, as the economy gets worse, if we don't figure out some different systems to address all of the aspects of situations like this, we are just gonna see more violent responses. We have to deal with the causes of this shit holistically.

I'm sick of seeing people consistently and intentionally misread what Daniel has been saying tonight. He's trying to bring nuance to a conversation where most everyone else who I am seeing rebuke him is offering no solutions, no prevention, no acknowledgement that an eviction is always an escalation

My point is that we have a very bad system and, even when an eviction is justified for the protection of others, there are still downsides and a combination of a terrible social safety net and rampant gun ownership create horrifying outcomes like this.
