Negative trials matter, particularly in ALS. We need failures to get successes. Thomas Edison is credited with reframing his repeated attempts to build the light bulb as, “I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.” That is how we should view well-designed negative trials.

Had a great time at the Pavlovian Society (first timer!!) in beautiful Montreal. Deciding to present a new behavioral task in front of.. the best and brightest behavior folks.. was maybe not the best idea. Nervous.. but it dissipated quickly trying to get back on schedule.
