Do we all agree about the fact birds are the most aura farming creatures in nature? #furry #furryfandom #furryart #furryartwork #furrydrawing #furrycommunity #furryartist

That's just it - it's not a heartfelt apology. It's 6 pages of corporate-speak that feels like "Look! We were doing a good thing!" instead of a proper ownership of the mistake. Why is the apology second-in-importance to the explanation of what's going on?

This apology feels incredibly hollow to me. My team was forced into this situation many many months ago and the opportunity to learn from that experience was there, but clearly that didn't happen. The lack of care and empathy cannot simply be undone or unsaid.

Have to say that oneself am still left with the feeling that the way this was both done, and still communicated and worded in this statement is pretty much the definition of 'play at being a “big business”.' While understand the mentioned issues, believe it could have been done much better.

This is a very corporate jargon apology. But I really do hope you have a long hard think about why this happened and learn from it. The convention is nothing without its volunteers.
