Another game I think would be really cool is one where you're a Viet Cong political officer who recruits NPC allies from the population and tries to kill the Americans. There would be a building mechanic (the tunnels, and camps) with asynchronous multiplayer like Death Stranding...
Show Post...but the Americans can bomb them and the jungle gradually reclaims them. You have to use hit-and-run tactics because you can lose things that take a long time to build. But as you advance, your reputation is such that it gets easier and easier to rebuild your cell when you lose men.
