Five minutes is short enough to take the pressure off but still gives you enough time to create something interesting. I especially like the idea of sharing the strongest sentence instead of trying to make everything perfect.

That keep/reject/add loop is a great guardrail against accepting the first plausible output. A useful extra check is to save the rejected part and revisit it later—it can reveal which choices are genuinely yours.
