Your feelings are valid. A lot of us are struggling with the blatant right-out-in-front-of-God-and-everybody corruption happening. The cognitive dissonance is deeply unsettling. It cannot stand for long, though. It is collapsing under its own weight even now. And, JSYK, your writing helps.

And every time I start writing out what I want to have happen to those evil old power-hungry hypocrites (at least one of whom is a canonical pedophile, but they are all gross one way or another), I keep thinking about our own canonical pedophiles irl who are still prancing around free. ☠️

I think part of the reason I am struggling to write this last stage of my (Re)making history to find you fic is that I thought it would be cathartic to write about overthrowing the patriarchy but actually it is just making me think even more about the upcoming midterm elections in my country😬
