It's the 7-year anniversary of Book Moon this month! Last winter we were lucky enough to be able to buy the building, which is key to the survival of any independent bookstore. Two smaller things I appreciate here: 1. Unless I’m mistaken, there are zero cuts or edits in this? It’s the whole conversation, start to finish. 2. The addition of “or not pray at all” every single time, which a lot of candidates tend to omit.

Personal assistant to a gallerist. On the first day we went to run an errand in her car and she handed me her SNAKE that we were taking somewhere. She kept saying “It won’t bite you” and I just ground my jaw and screamed internally. After the car ride back I got out of her car and into mine.
