When I took office, it took three months to get a nursing license in Oregon, while the state was short on nurses. I directed state government to work more effectively, and now a nurse can get licensed in one to three days.

I was talking with someone in the Bend area who isn't up for election in November, and you know what he was doing this Sunday afternoon? Out canvassing to help people who are running. I am really impressed with how so many of our local elected officials "lead from the front"

The earlier you vote (in states like Oregon where we are already voting) the faster you are removed from lists of people to call/text/knock doors/send flyers, which also allows the people doing those things to focus on the truly undecided
