There's a form of grief about the state of the climate, the species we killed with out actions, the damage we've done to the ecosystem. Grief about not what we "lost" but what we destroyed (often through negligence).

This is why gas prices produce such panic. Car dependency across most of the country is so deep, the ability to get to work and the ability to exercise freedom is threatened.

I don't want more features. I prefer projects to focus on privacy, security, performance, and accessibility. To do as much as possible locally. To work with others to build on common protocols. I don't want them to disrupt others. Give us incremental improvement. Give us a good sustainability story.
