There is quite a bit of an in between area here. Miscarriage doesn't guarantee death or jail. Look, this situation is awful, but these black and white statements really don't help.

I'm not denying that. I'm just saying that it's not one or the other. There are absolutely extreme measures being taken, but *not* 100% of the time. Fear mongering on either side of the issue damages the ability to move beyond the current state of things.

The current reality for women is terrifying in many places. But saying every miscarriage leads to jail or death oversimplifies the issue and shuts down real conversation and ability to progress.
